Abidjan is a coastal town on the south Atlantic coast of Ivory Coast, West Africa. It is the main urban center of the country, with its skyscrapers rising above the Ébrié lagoon. Modern sites of interest include the Pyramid, a building reminiscent of a ziggurat. St. Paul's Cathedral is an inclined structure attached to a huge cross. Works of art, cultural relics, and handicrafts are on display at the Musée des Civilizations in Côte d'Ivoire.
