Built on a strip of land between the Ouladine lagoon to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, the historic city of Grand-Bassam, the first Ivorian capital, has kept its picturesque charm and authenticity, with its buildings dating from the 19th century.
Here the BCA, former bank of African colonies, one of the few buildings still in excellent condition. It was the 3rd bank installed in Ivory Coast. Location: Commander Pineau Street, facing the former Hotel de France.
