Perched on a picturesque hillside, Zoo Nationale d'Abidjan features coconut palms and rubber and mango trees flanking walkways and enclosures. Elephants, pigmy hippos, lions, monitor lizards, pythons, ostriches, monkeys, and a variety of crocodiles are only some of about 30 species that make their home here.
